Steamed Pork Roll with Ground Glutinous Rice: A traditional dish in Huizhou Cuisine. The sliced pork is rolled up with seasonings and put upright on thin sheets of bean curd in steamers for steaming. This makes the dish carry a special flavour.
Pickled Cabbage Cooked with Bean Curd: Local flavour in Huizhou Cuisine, usually served in winter. Pickled cabbage in cubes and bean curd together with local flavoured seasonings are cooked on charcoal fire. The longer it is cooked, the more delicious it will be.
Likeng Roast Pork: Originated in Likeng Village, Wuyuan County from Tang Dynasty. According to history books, it is the custom to cook one whole pig as offering to ancestors before the Spring Festival in Wuyuan County, at the same time roast pork and fish as supplementation.
Bamboo Shoots from Mt. Wezheng Cooked with Sausage and Dried Mushroom: One traditional flavour in Huizhou mountainous area. Cooked with sausage and dried mushrooms, the bamboo shoots is more fragrant.

Steamed Stone Frog: Inhabited in caves, stone frog is a special product in Mt. Huangshan. It weights 250 gram or so, whose belly is white and back black with stripe. Salted Mandarin Fish: According to the legend, two hundred years ago the peddlers along the Yangtze River carried mandarin fish in buckets to Huizhou mountain area. The trip took seven or eight days, so they put salt into the buckets to preserve the mandarin fish. This made the fish carry a special flavour.
Huizhou Hotpot: With six layers, this dish is of typical local flavour.
